What it is like

A shrub or small tree. It grows 7 m high. The small branches are hairy. The leaves are broadly oval and 4-15 cm long by 5-8 cm wide. They have irregular double teeth. There can be lobes above the middle. There are 1-6 fruit in a group.


Where it is found

It grows in secondary forests in valleys between 1,300-2,100 m altitude in China.
