What it is like
A small slender tree. It grows 4-6 m tall. The trunk is 5-12 cm across. The bark is brown and has lines along it. The leaves are in a flat spreading crown. They are 47-135 cm long by 9-26 cm wide. The flower panicles hang from the stem. They can be 80 cm long and are hairy.
