What it is like

A herb. It can be erect or curving upwards. It is much branched. It grows 10-60 cm long. It roots near the base. The leaves are 4 times divided. They leaves are in one plane. The sterile stems are turned towards the light and the fertile ones are turned away from the light.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. In Indonesia it grows between 450-1,800 m above sea level. It can grow in sunny or shady places.
