What it is like

A woody vine. Young branches do not have wings and leafy branches are elongated. The leaves are 5-11 cm long by 3-7 cm wide. Flowers are near bracts at the base of young shoots. The fruit are red and 5-11 mm long by 4-8 mm wide.


Where it is found

It is a subtropical plant. It grows in shrubland between 200-2,300 m above sea level.
