What it is like
A shrub. It grows 1.5 m high. The young branches have 2 or 4 ribs. The leaf stalk is about 2 mm long and flattened above. The leaf blades are 3-10 cm long by 2 cm wide. The flowers are red. They have a strong scent.
They have also been put in the family Euphorbiaceae.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows at about 300 m above sea level.
