What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 5 m tall. The leaves are near the tip of the small branches. They are narrowly oval with teeth along the edge. They are 4-10 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. The flowers are in groups of 7-20. The flowers are white and have a scent. The fruit are green to purple and 1 cm long. The fruit are edible.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in wet mountain forest. It has been recorded between 3,000-3,200 m above sea level.
