What it is like

A tree. It grows 2-8 m tall. It loses its leaves during the year. It is more compact than Planchonia careya. The leaves are 4-7 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. There are a few large flowers in a group. They hang down. The fruit is oval and 17-41 mm long.
