What it is like

A vine. The branches are angular with ridges along them. There are tendrils with 2 or 3 branches. The leaf stalk is 3-10 cm long. The leaves are compound. The central leaflet is narrowly oval and 5-13 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. The side leaflets are 4.5-11.5 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. There are sharp teeth along the edge. The fruit are round berries 8 mm across. They have 2 or 3 seeds.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows between 100-2,700 m above sea level. In Yunnan.
