What it is like
A tree. It grows 15 m tall. The bark is smooth and greyish-brown. The leaves are grouped at the ends of branches. The leaves are large and shiny. They are 17-45 cm long by 10-20 cm wide. The flowering shoots are 50 cm long. There are 40 flowers. The fruit are 4-5 cm long by 2 cm wide and green when ripe.

It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 1,000 m above sea level.
