What it is like
A low shrub. The young branches are reddish-brown. They have small prickles. The leaves are simple. They are almost round and 5-10 cm across. They are covered with soft hairs. The edges have 3-5 lobes. The flowering shoots are at the ends. The flowers are in the axils of leaves. The fruit are red and 1 cm across.

It is a subtropical plant. In Yunnan.
