What it is like
A small erect shrub. It has a few prickles. The leaves have 7-9 leaflets with one at the end. The leaflets are narrowly oval to sword shaped and 5-10 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. There are many flowers in a group and the petals are white. The fruit is aggregate and red when ripe. They are 0.8-1.4 cm across.
Where it is found
It is a subtropical plant. It grows at low to medium elevations in Taiwan.
