What it is like

A herb. It grows 90 cm tall. The lower leaves have leaf stalks. These are 2-6 cm long. The leaves are oval and 15 cm long by 18 cm wide. They have leaflets.

There are about 12 Torilis species.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in mixed forests on mountain slopes between 200-2,400 m above sea level in China.
