What it is like
A shrub. It grows 2-4 m tall. The leaflets are large and 5-7 cm long by 2-3 cm across. They are hairy underneath. The flowers are in groups of 3-7. The fruit or hip is oval and 2.5 cm long.
Where it is found
It grows in thickets between 1,600-3,000 m above sea level. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
