What it is like
A herb. It grows 50 cm tall. It has a few branches. The leaf blades are thin. The leaves near the base are divided into lobes. The leaves higher up have winged leaf stalks. The flowers are small and yellow on long stalks. The fruit is a narrow pod 1 cm long. There are 2 rows of seeds.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows on wet ground and near streams. In southern China it grows from near sea level to 1,500 m above sea level.
