What it is like
A creeping herb or vine. It can be creeping or climbing and twining. It grows 2-3 m long. The stems are slender and cylinder shaped. They can be red. The leaves are alternate and have 5 leaflets. The leaflets are 2-7 cm long by 1 cm wide. They are narrowly oval or sword shaped and there are teeth along the edge. The flowers are often single. The fruit are flattened round capsules.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows at lower elevations.
