What it is like

The flowers are in the axils of leaves. The flowers are yellow. The fruit are pink and have purple flesh. They are 1.5 cm long by 1.3 cm wide. The seed is 11-12 mm long by 7-8 mm wide.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in lowland rainforest and along rivers. It suits humid locations. It grows from sea level to 1,200 m above sea level. It can grow in arid places.
