What it is like

A shrub or tree. It grows from 3-30 m tall. The trunk can be 10-28 cm across. The leaves are narrowly oval and 6-17 cm long by 2-6 cm wide. The flowers are in groups of 1-12. There can be 1-6 fruit in a group. They are green and turn red when ripe.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It can be in non flooded or occasionally flooded forests. It grows from sea level to 700 m above sea level.
