What it is like
A rhododendron shrub that can grow on tree ferns. It is climbing. It grows 60 cm tall. The leaves are shiny and pointed. The flowers are pink to red. They are bell shaped and hanging.
There are over 500 Rhododendron species. It is an unresolved name in The Plant List. It is now grown in other countries as an ornamental.

A tropical plant. In Papua New Guinea it occurs near Wau.
