What it is like

A shrub. It grows 1-2 m tall. Young shoots are scaly. They have brown hairs. The leaves are 4-8 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. They are rounded at the base and taper to the tip. There are 1 or 2 flowers at the ends of the branches and they have a scent. They are funnel shaped and white tinged with red.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in forests on rocky valley sides between 2,500-3,000 m above sea level. In Yunnan.
