What it is like

An evergreen shrub. It grows 1 m tall. The branches are thick and the bark is dark brown. The leaves are oblong and a flat dark green. They are 4-12 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. The flowers are in groups of 7-10. They are bell shaped.

It is an unresolved name in The Plant List. The leaves contain anti-oxidants and are used as a fat-control drink.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows on rocky slopes between 1,600-3,000 m above sea level.
