What it is like
A herb. It grows 15-45 cm high. The leaves are simple and narrow. They are 10 cm long. The flowers are bright orange-red. They are in groups on long stalks. They open about 10.00 am and close before sundown. The fruit are long narrow pods.
Also put in the family Turneraceae.
