What it is like

A lichenised fungi. It is a round mass of branched filaments. It is 4-8 cm across.

Not in The Plant List Probably also used as tea are the lichens L. sernanderi, L. cashmeriana and L. sinensis. See J. Nat. Med. (2010) 64:85-88.


Where it is found

It grows in high mountain areas at 4,000 m altitude on the border of Yunnan and Tibet in China.
