What it is like
A low sprawling under shrub. It grows 10-45 cm high. The flowers are purple and blue. The fruit is a 2 celled yellow berry. This later becomes covered by a calyx. The fruiting stalks are long and slender.
There are about 1400 Solanum species.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It can grow in arid places. It grows in central Queensland.
