What it is like

A tree. It grows 10-25 m tall. The trunk is angular and can have buttresses. The leaves are oblong and 8-25 cm long by 4-10 cm wide. The flowers occur singly opposite the leaves. The fruit capsule is oval and 2 cm across. It is hairy. Seeds are 1.3 cm long.
