A trailing herb. The leaves have leaf stalks. The leaves are divided into 3 like fingers on a hand. The leaflets are oval with the side ones cup shape and with toothed edges. The flowers are purple. The fruit are black and round.

Where it is found

A tropical plant. In Nepal plants grow between 300 and 1700 m altitude. They grow in open, moist places.
