What it is like
A herb. The stems are grey. The leaves are broadly oval and 7-17 cm long by 4-9 cm wide. The flowers are in groups 5-12 cm long. The flowers are tube shaped and bluish purple. The tube is 3-4 cm long and the lower lip has 3 lobes.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in forests and thickets between 300-1,600 m above sea level in southern China. In XTBG Yunnan.
