What it is like
A shrub or tree. It has large spines. The flowers are yellow. The pod is spiral shaped and narrows between the seeds. The seeds are 7 mm long by 5 mm wide.
Caution: It can become a weed. Also as Mimosaceae.

It is a temperate plant. In Argentina it grows from sea level to 2,500 m above sea level.
