What it is like

A shrub. It grows 10-20 cm tall. The leaves are oval and 1-7 cm long. The edges are curled. The flowers are yellow and spreading. The fruit are berries 3-6 cm long. The seeds are flattened and 1-1.5 cm long.

It is a subtropical plant. It grows in moist sandy flats up to 50 m above sea level in Florida.
