What it is like
A creeper. It can be 15 m long. It attaches by roots. The stems are slightly 4 angled. They are 2 cm across. The leaves are more pale underneath. The leaf stalk can be 5-20 cm long with broad wings. The leaves are oval and 2-8 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. The flowering shoots can be single or in a group. The spathe is curved back and green with purple edges. The fruit is oval to round and 1-2 cm long by 1 cm wide.
There are about 50-70 Pothos species.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in moist forests climbing over trees and rocks below 900 m above sea level in southern China. In Yunnan.
