What it is like
A small tree. It grows 16 m tall. The trunk is 30 cm across. The leaves are crowded at the twigs. They are simple and opposite. The flowers are 11 mm across and white to yellow. The fruit are 35 mm across and are green berries.
There are about 100 Randia species. There are about 90 Randia species in tropical America.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in forests up to 1,700 m above sea level.
