What it is like

A bamboo. It grows 3-5 m tall. The culms are 2 cm across. The internodes are 27-29 cm long. The leafy branches sometimes hang down. There are 3 or 4 leaves on the last branch. The leaf blade is 4-20 cm long by 2-3 cm wide.

It is a temperate plant. It grows in Sichuan and Yunnan in China.
