What it is like

A shrub. It grows to 2 m tall. The stems are 3-5 cm across. The leaves are alternate and compound. The main leaf is 30-35 cm long with 3 pairs of leaflets opposite each other. These are 16-22 cm long by 8-12 cm wide. The flowering cluster is at the ends of the branches. The flowers are white. The fruit is oval and 2.5 cm long by 13 mm wide. There is 1 seed.

A tropical plant. In Bolivia it grows up to 400 m altitude.
