What it is like
A cactus. It grows on other plants. The main stem is cylindrical. The secondary stalks are 30-50 cm long by 4-7 cm wide. They are green. The flowers come out at night. They are white. The fruit are a dark red colour. The pulp is white. There are many black seeds.
There are about 20 Epiphyllum species.

A tropical plant. It grows in tropical and subtropical places.
