What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 6 m tall. The trunk can be 10 cm across. Young shoots can be red near the nodes. The leaves are oval to round and 25 cm long by 22 cm wide. The base is heart shaped.

It is a tropical plant. It can grow up to 2,000 m above sea level.
