What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 2-6 m tall. The leaves are large with 7-11 leaflets. The edges are wavy. The end leaflet is 5-11 cm long. The flowers are near the ends of branches and can be on the trunk. The flowers are 10-30 cm long.
Also put in the family Simaroubaceae.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows between 60-1,000 m above sea level.
