What it is like

A large vine that climbs over trees. The stem can be 12 cm across. The lower internodes are 12 cm long and the upper ones 2-3 cm long. The leaf stalks are 40-65 cm long and 2 cm thick. The leaves are oval to heart shaped and 35-55 cm long. They can be divided. The fruit are berries 6-7 mm across.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows near sea level and can be up to 700 m above sea level.
