What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 4-10 m tall. The bark is greyish-brown. The leaves are 9-20 cm long. There are 7-9 leaflets. These are 2-8 cm long by 204 cm wide. The flowers are in a group 15-35 cm long at the ends of the branches. The flowers are pale purple. The pods are 5-9 cm long by 2-2.5 cm wide and there are 1-2 seeds.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in seasonally dry areas.
