What it is like

A fern. The end of the rhizome is covered with dark brown scaled. The frond stalks are 30-45 cm long by 5-8 mm wide. The blade is 50-80 cm long by 46-80 cm wide. They are divided four times. The pinnae are in 9-12 pairs. These are opposite.

Also put in the family Aspleniaceae.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows on the edge of forests between 1,300-2,300 m above sea level.
