What it is like
A herb. It has short underground stems or rhizomes about 4 mm thick. The stems above ground are 6-8 cm long. The leaves are alternate and round. The are 9 cm long and 5-6 cm wide. They can have a pointed tip and heart shaped base.

It is a tropical plant. It grows between 140-1,450 m above sea level. It grows on or among rocks.
