What it is like
A vine or creeper. It has tendrils. The leaves are twice divided and 5-13 cm long. The terminal leaflets are 2.5 - 8.5 cm long by 1.3-4 cm wide. The flowering shoots are usually in the axils of leaves. The flowers are 3.5-4.5 mm long. The fruit are broadly oval and 13-20 mm long. They have 3 sections and 3 wings. There are 1-3 round seeds.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows from sea level to 1,500 m above sea level. It occurs in drier areas.
