What it is like
A vine. It grows 8 m long. It has strong tendrils. The leaves are 8-15 cm long by 3-7.5 cm wide. They are dull underneath. The flowers occur in clusters. They are dull red. The fruit are green and ripen to yellow to orange. They are 5-7.5 cm long by 3.5-4 cm wide.

It is a tropical plant. It grows at low altitudes in Guyana.
