What it is like
A corm herb. The corm is oval and 25 mm across. It has a single stem amongst leaves at the ground level. The stem is 3-15 cm long. There are 2-3 narrow leaves. There are many flowers 2-3 cm across. These have 4-8 oval bracts.

It is a subtropical plant.
