What it is like

A thorny shrub. It grows 1-2.5 m tall. The branches are stout and have spines in pairs. The leaves are 6-45 mm long and in clusters on short side spurs. They are oval to round. The flowers are white and open at dusk. The fruit are 2-3 cm across. They are smooth and greenish yellow.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 300 m above sea level.
