What it is like

It is a screwpine or pandanus about 5 m tall. It is similar to karuka. The leaves are about 1.1 m long. They are 3.6 cm wide at the base. The fruit are green.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. In Papua New Guinea it has been recorded at 1,500 m above sea level in the Owen Stanley mountains.
