What it is like

A shrub or small tree. It can grow 10 m tall. The leaves are narrowly oval and 4-20 cm long by 1.5-4 cm wide. Flowering shoots occur singly at the ends of branches. The fruit are 4-5 mm long. They are dark blue to black.
