What it is like
A herb or small shrub. The branches can be 6 m long. The leaves are narrowly oval and 7-18 cm long by 3-8 cm wide. There are 10-30 flowers on stalks in the axils of leaves.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in wet mountain forests between 900-2,640 m above sea level.
