What it is like
A natural hybrid between grapefruit and sweet orange. It is a small tree. It grows 3-6 m high. The leaves look and smell like grapefruit. They are papery and 6-9 cm long. Young shoots can have prominent thorns. The flowers can occur singly or in groups in the axils of leaves. Fruit is round or pear-shaped. The peel is yellow and easy to remove. The pulp is yellow-orange. There are 9-13 segments. There are 7-15 seeds.
