What it is like
A tree. It can be 12-24 m tall. The trunk is straight and the crown is small. The leaves are narrowly oval and 6-19 cm long by 4-8 cm wide. The flower panicles are near the ends of branches. The flowers are small and white. The fruit is narrowly oval.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in forests and mountains up to 2,500 m above sea level.
