What it is like
An annual herb. It lies along the ground. The stems are angular or winged. The leaves are opposite and 6-12 mm long by 6-7 mm wide. They are broadly oval. The flowers are 2-3 mm long in clusters in the axils of the leaves. There can be up to 6 flowers in a group. The fruit is a round capsule 1.5-1.8 mm long. There are many triangle shaped seeds.
