A medium sized tree. The fruit are fleshy orange pods. They are 8-12 cm long with 6-8 black oval seeds.
There are 90 Archidendron species. Also as Mimosaceae.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It mostly occurs on reefs.

The ripe yellow fruit are baked and eaten or can be eaten raw. The fruit are used in soups and stews.
